I have my own issues with BPS in another thread, but can comment on the SBS 2003 - SBS 2008 migration part.
First off, I would not waste my time (IMPO), on the Foundations server. You would be upgrading to SBS 2008 shortly afterwards anyway.

Thanks for your suggestions. We are actually doing a "migration." What I mean is, since our network has so many issues, we said screw it, we are doing a fresh install of everything basically. We know we need to be very careful about backing up stuff so we are making sure we make a REALLY LONG checklist of what needs to be done... I think some people call this planning Anyway, we are getting close to doing it and hopefully many issues, if not ALL, will be solved after the implementation.
Back to BB world, how would I wipe out the device to re-add it to the BPS server after we install it an everything? Someone a long time ago suggested CrackUtil I think... please advice!
Thank you all!

JL_cmdr can do it or just wipe from the HH it self.
It is also a good time to upgrade all the HH OSes.
