our bes has many IT policies--
one with PGP i must have some setting checked that is blocking reprogramming an existing user
i can login to bas and reset password but when i try to program a bb with the existing email i get the "contact your system admin"
the settings on the BES 5.0 seem to require we always have a fresh unit- my old bes 4.1 would allow a unit with info to program on the bes-- not sure what i changed in security policies but now the unit must be new or freshly wiped.
an existing user on the NONpgp IT policy i can reset the password and program the user again successfully (as in if they lost their bb)
on the pgp side i cannot do this-- i have to erase the email in exchange and bes and wait for cache to clear if i want same email but then all emails and sync of address book is lost.. i end up making them a new email.
any idea what settings i have set incorrectly on the IT policy or is this within the PGP univ server?
thanks

cartel,
This has to do with a pre-existing IT policy that differs from the server you are attempting to active it on. The best way to resolve this is by perform a Wipe on the device which will remove the any IT policy set on the device. At that point you can Enterprise Active the device.
Hope this helps,

Thanks
but thats not it..
they were on the server i am trying to reinstall then to.. i have tried brand new units and i "always" wipe now on this server before trying it its not brand new .
no matter what i seem to try i cannot reprogram a user to a replacement handheld.. with PGP policy as the original unit..
its like i can program only once and then i cannot replace units.. is there some setting on the bes that blocks replacing the unit?
