all the devices on my BES are having issues opening attachments this morning. I have re-booted the BES and the phones. Any other suggestions?

What's your BES version?
What is the current status of the BES services? Is the attachment and MDS-CS services running?
Any errors in the BES logs?
Also go here: START > Programs > BlackBerry Enterprise Server > BlackBerry Server Configuration
Click on the 'test attachment service' tab and run a test like below:

Just figured out the BES server drive was running out of space. Cleared up some room and all is happy again. I guess it uses local drive space to attach? V5 by the way.

lol, I believe the services will not start up when disk space is too low! Event viewer is a good place to start as well when you have this type of issue.
A hint: don't save your logs on the same drive where the BES is installed!
