Re: BAS installation

What if i do the BAS install first on the new server and leave the existing BAS on the BES server, would it be a problem?

Re: BAS installation

Yes, as I said in my previous post. First remove BAS on existing BES, then add BAS to new server.

Re: BAS installation

Now I am running the BES setup to install the BAS.

At the Database Infiormation Screen

Database location is set as Remote by default.

I have mentioned the remote SQL Server Name from the existing configuration

BlackBerry Config Database Name by Default is BESMgmt

Next option is to Backup the existing configuration

Authentication set as Windows Authentication from the Existing Setup, when I hit Next- a windows pop up

"

Before you install a remote BlackBerry Enterprise Server component or a standby BlackBerry Ent server you must installl an active BB Ent Server with a BB Config database

"

What am I supposed to do now?

Please use plain text.
