BDS 10 : Blackberry MDS Connection Service error Event ID : 15000

Hello,

 

We have BDS 10 coupled with Exchagne 2010. On my BDS server i am seen an error on event id 15000.

Hello ishandes,

Thank you for your question regarding MDS-CS connection errors.

 

Event ID 15000 is referencing that the port is in use already. If this is BES 10.1 can you confirm if the two below ports are open and ready for MDS connections?

 

9080

9443

LW,

 

Thank you for the response. We are using Blackberry 10.0 and we only manage Blackberry devices though it (BDS only). I ran a nmap query and can confirm ports 9080 and 9443 is open.

We ran the latest release update on our BES 10 server to bring it up to 10.1.2 and now we get this error:

 

Ever since we've applied the update we get this issue:

DEVBESXPRESS10B.DevResource.local is our BES 10 server

 

devexchangea.devresource.local Is our Exchange server

 

So we can no longer send emails from any playbook or other BB devices. The BES throws the above error. This error showed up after the update, prior to that everything has been working fine.

 

Any ideas? Ports 9080 9443 are all open.
