BES 10.1.1 - UDS Work Apps - How to put a CIFS explorer (iOS/Android) ?

Dear,

After a lost of hairs and times to make everything working on our BES 10.1.1, we have requests for particular apps from our Management.

Do you know an application on iOS and Android that can consult CIFS Shares (like Blackberry Work Drives for Z10) inside Work Apps ?

And is-there a guide to achieve this ?

I have found how to retreive IPA files via iTunes but when I put that into Secure Applications (UDS => Settings => External Integration => Work Space), I receive a failed statuts.

Tested with the wonderfull Flipboard 2.0.4 (iOS).

Thanks,

I believe you can only deploy internally-developed Enterprise applications in the Work Space. It is not designed to host applications you would normally obtain via iTunes.

The documentation on the Secure Work Space is very poor at the moment, but I recall this being mentioned in a BlackBerry online presentation I saw last month.

Ugh, that would have been nice to know before I started.  Fat chance that we'll be hiring a developer anytime for mobile apps :smileysad:

Did BlackBerry mention any plans to change this? Or perhaps work with select vendors to develop SWS apps?
