I have a BES 5.02 server with 6 users and 105 CALs. We used to have 85 users. I choose not to upgrade and just do a new install of BES 10.1 and I do not intend to manage 5.02 with the 10.1 version.
I installed BES 10.1 and based on suggestions I read, I registered for the trial. So I installed and activated the trial with the trial SRP and licenses. Now I have Traded UP 10 of the CALs. In the Blackberry Account Center, I received a license for my 10 CALs. I also received a new 10.1 SRP ID and license key. Do I have to switch to this SRP and license key to be able to keep the server functional?
Thanks for any help.

Does the SRP ID starts from "S" or "T" ?
S = Permanent
T = Temporary
CAL's should continue work. The trade up offer is ending on 31rst Dec 2013

The SRP I received with the Trial starts with an S, the SRP I received when I traded up the CALs also included a new SRP that started with an S. So from what you're saying I should not need to switch to the new SRP?

BES 10 has a perm SRP and only the CALs are temporary.
Use the SRP that came with the CALs as they are tied to it.

I went ahead and switched to the SRP that came with the upgraded CALs, See KB04744
I still only have 1 user, so I'd see if anyone else has been working fine since the change or SRP. So far I've had no issues.
