I am attempting to install the 60 trial of BES 10 so I can test 2 Z10's. The main BES 5 servers are at corporate HQ in Europe and they will not be upgrading for a while.
The problem is when I go to install the package. It gets to the MS AD settings area and I have to put in the username, domain and password. It tells me they are invalid. I look in the logs and see:
GetDNSDomainFromNetbiosDomain assumed [win.gade.de] was already a DNS domain name
CADSettingsCon::Validate begins - U/D/P[gade\BDSAdmin/win.gade.de/XXXXXXXX] GC CES, IVA[1/0/0] LDWD RO
QueryServerRootDSE could not bind the user [win.gade.de\gade\BDSAdmin] on the ADsPath [LDAP://win.gade.de/rootDSE] using [ADsOpenObject], native return code [8007052e]
ADSettings failed to validate user creds during bind with - user[gade\BDSAdmin] domain[win.gade.de] pwd[XXXXXXXX] - code
ADSettings failed to validate user creds - user[gade\BDSAdmin] domain[win.gade.de] pwd[XXXXXXXX] - code
Basically it is complaining that it is attempting to use the AD domain of win.gade.de as the DNS domain name which is gade-us.com. In europe, this would work becuase that is their DNS name, but in the US we are part of their AD OU, but have our own DNS and domain name.
How do I get around this? If I can't get around it on my own, there is no point in even bothering with the 10's

did you apply the permissions to teh BDSAdmin for both domains?
is there a 2 way trust?
