Hi All,
I'm in the middle of installing BES 5.0 for MS Exchange 2007 Environment.
I'm stuck on the CAL and SRP Information stage.
Firstly, I should explain that I am in Sydney, Australia (G'day mates! - hehe)
Therefore my Service Provider is a company called Telstra.
I was able to access a free 60 day trial BES 5.0 software pack from their website.
Upon download of the software I received an SRP ID and Key. (Also received a CAL Authentication Key)
The error message I am getting when trying to install appears when I try to verify my SRP ID and Key information. Error Message: "Invalid SRP Key or ID : Wireless Network can not be contacted..."
I am leaning towards this is something to do with my outside connection to RIM Server...
Hope that all made sense ???
Any help is much appreciated guys

Have you opened up TCP Port 3101 outbound?
Give this a read: KB03735 - Firewall and connection requirements for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server

Hi All,
Apologies for taking so long to get back to everyine reading this ....
OK - so the issue here was the fact that we still had an existing BES connected using the SAME SRP as the new BES we were trying to install....
What we found was that Both BES didn't come down, rather the new BES would disconnect from the BlackBerry Infrastructure every few minutes.
Hope that helps for anyone out there that has the same issue or made the same mistake I did ?
Always happy to help if anyone reading this is still a little confused ![]()
P.S> AndyDufresne - thanks very much for your time in trying to help resolve for us.
Cheers.

Start with this.
KB02068 - How to troubleshoot SRP connectivity issues
Also did you allow port 3101 out bound initated bi direction for the BES server?
Using the same SRP will also do what you are decribing. You can only use the SRP for one server at a time.
