BES 5.0 remote wipe and/or feature request

Anyone have a suggestion for the following scenario or know how I can submit a feature request?

 

We allow users to bring their own device and connect it to our BES.  We still reserve the right to wipe the device when they leave.  Since the device belongs to them, we don't want to completely disable the device, we just want to remove our data.  However, in v5.0 of BES the following options are the only two available: 

 

- Specify new device password and lock device

- Delete all device data and disable device

 

In 4.1.6, the option was there to "Wipe and lock" which would work, but was less than ideal since we would have to give the user a password.  What I *really* want to do is just wipe and reset the device, which will remove the data and require them to reconfigure their device.  I know I can just set the password and tell them to type a wrong password in 10x, but that is less than ideal.  Once a user leaves, the less interaction that is required, the better.

 

I'm open for suggestion, so fire away!

Delete all device data and disable device

 

That should do what you want. It really disables it from using BES. It resets it to factory.

If you want a reset to factory defaults performed (ie. removal of the IT Policy rules) when the device is wiped by that command you have to first send it an IT Policy with the Remote Wipe Reset to Factory Defaults IT policy rule set to 'yes'.  You can find more on this rule in the BlackBerry Enterprise Server - Policy Reference Guide
