BES 5 web console

When I logon to the BES web console from ie 8/9 the console can sometimes hang and crash, but when I login using firefox I do not experience any problems. This can differ from PC tp PC, sometimes ie is fine from a different PC.

 

Is this a configuration issue with ie?

IE9 does not crash on me in the 2 months I have had BES 5 SP3 installed.

 

Check your BES version number

1) Go to the Add or Remove Programs Control Panel applet (Start > Run > appwiz.cpl )

2) Locate the reference to "BlackBerry Enterprise Server", select it and then click "Click here for support information.".

3) The publisher listed should be "Research In Motion" and the Version will be the exact version of BES currently installed.

Also you can learn more about the MR level with the bundle number too.

I do not think it is a version issue, I am using SP3 with MR7

Hi

 

Have you checked this, "There are known compatibility issues with Internet Explorer v9.0, please refer to KB26095 for more details"?

 

Have you added the BAS url to trusted sites and dropped the security level on the trusted sites?
