I am installing a new BES V5.0.3 server with latest servic pack, however, I get a 404 error when trying to access any of the admin web console pages.
From what I have read BES does not require IIS as it uses Tomcat and it is a possible Java error?
Furthermore after updating to latest service pack the Blackberry Syslog service fails to start with error 1075: The dependancy service does not exist or has been marked for deletion. Not sure is this is normal after applying service pack.
The server is being built to move uses from old V4.X server.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried by IP and FQDN?

Is this the correct format - https://servername@domain:443/webconsole/login?
If so this does not work and will have to schedule an outage with the current BES to test IP address access.
Do I need to have IIS installed for this to work?

BEST uses tomcat for the Web interface. That logon looks correct. Just try removing FQDN and out in server IP, no need for down time to test it.

Not sure what I did as I have made a few changes.
Fixed the Blackberry Syslog dependency problem by removing the NTLMSSP settings from the registry, installed IIS and updated Java to the latest version and am now able to log into the console using the FQDN?
