Can anyone confirm if CALs obtained through the BES10 trade-up program will be compatible with BES 10.1 and, if any extra CALs will be necessary to activate advanced features?
Based on the text from the Trade-Up page, I would expect only standard EMM features to be available, but details are pretty scarce when it comes to the availability of the new features.

Same question here. We have 1 BES 5 server installed with 120ish CAL's, and have 1 BES10.0 server with about 5 CAL's that we traded up at this site: https://enterprise.ecomm.webapps.blackberry.com/ca
Now 10.1 is released and they point here for CAL upgrades. https://enterprise.ecomm.webapps.blackberry.com/ca
Reading between the lines it looks as though we now have to 'upgrade' all 125 CAL's once we install 10.1, but I'm not sure.

I do not mean to change the subject, but the trade-up / Interim CALs have an expiration date. I took my 30 BES 10 BDS CALs to 10.1 this morning and upgraded. But after adding the CALs to the new 10.1 server they show an expiration date of "30 licenses expire on 03/31/2014". Is this the new way of doing business...that the cals are temporary?...or is this just a transition period in which another CAL / activation code will be sent?

Maybe that's tied to the type of CAL you initially had for BES 10.
For 5 CALS I went from BES 5 to BES 10, then took 1 from BES 10 to 10.1 and it shows as perpetual on the order information message.
I couldn't actually add it yet to see it listed through the interface, (I'm assuming because I've only applied the BDS 6.2 MR1 and not the big 10.1 upgrade yet), but it shows as a corporate v10.1 - NFS Perpetual CAL.

If perpetuals from previous versions turn into CAL's with a 1 year expiry that's going to be bad for business. Hopefully it's a glitch.

So my 5 to 10 CALs should be perpetual. But taking those same CALs to 10.1 they revert to 1 year term. But if I purchase BES 10 CALs outright they are perpetual. Seems that one upgrade is different then the other and your are being penlized for being part of the BB Ready program. I upgraded early to be ready and to now lose my licenses that were supposedly upgraded.
So paying for support gave me the ability to upgrade to BES 10 to just have to start over with 10.1.
No too happy with that legal jargon.
