BES10 - static mail agent?

Hi,

A couple of days ago we set up BES10. In order to track down activation problems I'd like to assign a certain user a static mail agent (like we had/have in BES5).

Where/how can I set a static mail agent for a user?

Thanks much in advance for any clue,

[ Edited ]

There are no Mailbox Agents anymore, therefore no static one.
Activation can be troubleshooted by MDAT and EWS logs.

Edit: And on the EAS side of course.

Re: BES10 - static mail agent?

Oops, thats kinda bad news.
Since there are no static mailagents:

o) Is there any info about which messages to to which logfile?

o) Any "logparser" out there, since looking in GBs worth of log files is a bit time-consuming to say the least...

Message are not logged by BDS anymore cause the BDS does not synchronize -> EAS troubleshooting

Re: BES10 - static mail agent?

Hi Oliwer,

Concerning my first question: I'd like to know which messages from the BES go to which of the logfiles (DISP, EMWS,...)

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but what is "EAS"?

Re: BES10 - static mail agent?

EAS is Exchange ActiveSync.

This doc explains which Service is responsible for which function and contains a dataflow for the actiation process.
