At the moment this is not true. I've tried to "upgrade" my current license but the tool doesn't accepts SRP ID's with 7 digits. Only newer SRP ID's with 8 digits can be upgraded.

not sure if on BES Express or not? Check your BES version number
1) Go to the Add or Remove Programs Control Panel applet (Start > Run > appwiz.cpl )
2) Locate the reference to "BlackBerry Enterprise Server", select it and then click "Click here for support information.".
3) The publisher listed should be "Research In Motion" and the Version will be the exact version of BES currently installed.
Also you can learn more about the MR level with the bundle number too.
Let us know what bunde you have with version

I only have 7 in mine too, but I need to know if I set up BES 10 with the trial first and then do this. Otherwise how do I get BES 10 up and running without licences?
