Well cool on the RIM doesn't lock deal and thanks because I was getting mixed info on that. Man is this a learning experience :-)
There are 2 different servers involved here (1) the Exchange Server and (2) the BES Server.
Would rebooting the BES do anything ?

Yep that one. Hmmm. I understand what you are saying and now understand the meaning of that email but am not sure about permissions. I've set this person up the same as all the other users I have on our BES (?)

Oh sorry I read through that previoiusly and it all seemed to be at a higher level then this indiviual user or did I miss something. And if it is at a higher lever and all the other/current users are working OK why would any of those changes be needed ?

Well this is unreal... Maybe... I rebooted the BES server and guess what ? The device is at 64% on the activation and the user shows Running on the BES and the Pin # is showing now.
But frustrating as this has been I appreciatte everyone heres feedback. I' ve learned a lot as a newbie and greatly appreciatte that !

Just start babbling about DNS, AD, etc and they will be lost and say good job in the end.
