Blackberry 8703e and wav files

Can anyone confirm for me that the Blackberry 8703e runnning OS 4.2.1 can play wav attachments?.  None of my users with the 8703e can and this started to happen after we migrated to BES 5.0.  Thank you.

Were they able to play the WAV files on the 8703 before the BES upgrade?

 

It's probably a good idea to have your thread moved over to the BES 5.0 section of the forum

 

The 8703 could not play WAV files in the past. The 8700 could. Maybe that changed, and I lost sight of it...

The 8703e with OS 4.1 couldn't play wav attachments but OS 4.2 was suppose to have that capability.  The user said they were able to play wav files in BES 4.1.6.   I checked our BES 5.0 configuration and wav files are supported.  I'll move this post over to the BES 5.0 forum. Thanks.
