Hi, previously I have installed BESX and have been sent these details by email.

For BES10 I only received the License Key and serial with the software download link.   How do I get hold of the SRP ID and SRP Auth key,

This is all I received when I registered, for Blackberry Enterprise service 10.    Previously we used BESX as there was no license fee's required.  Because we now have some blackberry z10s we need the new blackberry 10 service.  Which we believe to be free, however we pay a device cal of $99 for each device.

Is it possible I am supposed to be upgrading from besx using my previous srp and cals ?  I am hoping we can set the new server up as an independent server.

BES 10 Server is for free, but CALs are not.
If you do not want to pay for the BES10 CALs you have to use a direct ActiveSync connection.
Ther SRP ID ind CAL is listed in your post as Serial Number and License Key.
So you don't need to use your BES Express SRP License. And you cannot use BES Express CAL keys.

Ah ok, that makes sense.  So once we have paid for some device CALs we receive the CAL key.

We should be getting them through today, so will update once working.

Sign up for the BES 10 Demo, you'll get an SRP that way, its the easiest method if you are just doing upgrade CALs.

ok the problem was, i couldnt install blackberry device service as i needed a device cal first.

My plan was to setup the server before the smartphones had arrived.

When I downloaded blackberry device service the email contained

 serial number

and license key

What you also need is the device cals which you will only receive after purchasing bb10 device Cals

I went through this too and found the following:

When you get the software you also get a listing of keys etc... It's bad design in BB's installation wizard that they don't use the same terms for the wizard's required fields for what is listed in the text file. Here's the translation:
