Blackberry Server in Different Country

I think I made a big boo boo today thanks to misinformation from my svc provider and I am filled with dread! Can anyone help confirm or deny my worst fears please?

I live in Country A and am newly employed by Company X. Company X is domiciled in another country, Country B, and their exchange server and blackberry server are in Country B.

If I got a regular BIS package, is it still possible for me to access my company email?

If no, then I suppose that means I must get a BES package, and if so, would the Blackberry data plan I get in my country Country A cover the cost of my email getting pushed to my Blackberry? Or would i have to pay a whole bunch of international data charges in addition?

Please use plain text.

Re: Blackberry Server in Different Country

All you need is a BES dataplan.

There are no other costs.

Likely not, via BIS.

Yes, that ^^ should be ok. Of course, there are always extenuating circumstances, but that should be fine according your carrier, countries involved, etc.

Probably not. That depends... on what countries, and where you might be traveling. Some Euro nations don't have the international data charges from adjacent counties, like on Vodafone. You will really need to check with your carrier on that.

There are really just too many unknown factors to answer this specifically.
