Can't add device software

[ Edited ]

Hi,

every time I want to add new device software to my device softwar configuration I get this error:

One or more BlackBerry Device Software bundles were detected for a specific carrier. No devices exist in the system for this carrier. The bundles were not added.

So I thougt maybe something is wrong with vendor and device.xml so I downloaded the latest files from:

http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB13589

and replaced them with my old one in the apploader folder.

Even after restarting the server I still get this error.

I'm running BlackBerry Enterprise Server v5.0.0 Maintenance Release 2.

(Applications for BB work fine, even wireless push and stuff like that - only the device / wdm thing is bugging me)

Would be great if someone could help me here!

Thanks a lot!

Re: Can't add device software

Do you have user on the bes that uses device model you are trying to set it up? It will let you setup device software configuration only for models that exist on your BES.
