Can't add new user to BES

Running BES 5.0.1.58 on Windows 2008 x64 server. We have created a new user in Active Directory and have established their Exchange mailbox (Exch 2007). When trying to add this user to the BES his name is not found in the search. I didn't enter anything in the search fields (Create User - Search) so all of AD would be returned in the search. His username is still not there. It appears that our BES is not synching with AD? This user account was created almost 1 week ago and is still not found in the BES. Any ideas? Thanks.

was able to solve it myself. The Blackberry Mail Store service was stopped. Once I started it and clicked on Refresh available user list from company directory under BB Solution Topology --> Component View --> Email the user was found in the search.

stop n start the BlackBerry mail store service and try again

look at MDAT or MAGT log for any issue

 

default location :\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerryEnterprise Server\Logs

Also look in event veiwer to seef if any errors or warnings pertain to your issue

Please post back the log info minus personal info
