Hi support,
I installed Blackberry enterprise server express 5.0.3 on our windows 2008 x64 server. We currently use Exchange 2010. Installation was smooth and successful. I went through the documentation and made sure that I satisfied all the pre-requisite.
After the installation, I restarted the blackberry server and logged into the Blackberry administration service.
Logged in as BESAdmin without any issues. However, when I try to add a new user, I get this following error message,
"No records were found that match the email address. Edit the email address and try again. "
I checked the properties of this mailbox and it all looks ok. The "Hide from Exchange address lists" option is unchecked for the mailbox.
I get the same error message when I try to add ANY new user. I have done lot of research on this, removed BES and re-installed again, etc and still couldn't get it to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you guys need any log files, please let me know. I will provide the same.
Regards,
Vignesh.

restart the BES Store and try a name look up and not the whole email address
Then look at BAS AS and MAGT MDAT logs for errors
default location :\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerryEnterprise Server\Logs
Also look in event veiwer to seef if any errors or warnings pertain to your issue
Please post back the log info minus personal info

Normally when you have this kind of issues you can do the following:
**Check if you can find the user in the Microsoft Active Directory.
**Check if you can find the user in the Global Address Book and also that is not hidden.
**Restart the BlackBerry Mail Store Service.
Just in case, also verify that you have the proper permissions in Microsoft Exchange Server ( http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02276 ) .
I hope this information will be helpful.
