I've upgraded our BES environment from 4.1.6 to 220.127.116.11. Just one server, cutover upgrade using the existing database.
I've moved all the users (which took more time then I thought) and now I want to remove the old server from the admin service since this server is already shut down.
When I go to "manage users" and search for users on the old server I receive the message that there are no users (sounds good to me) but when I look at "component view" I see the old and new server name and on the old server: "number of users: 1". And when I try to remove the server I receive the error:
"Users are attached to BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Move the users to another BlackBerry Enterprise Server before deletion"
The same goes for "component view" --> "blackberry enterprise server" --> "old server name" and from there choose "View Blackberry Enterprise Server Membership" gives me no users on the server.
Is there another way to see which user is still attached to the server or is there a way to make BES stop believing there is still 1 user?

RIM support suggested that I would check if there still was a user in the pending delete state. Since the 5.0 interface is new for me I had to find out where I had to look but it also was in "manage users" and then select the option "Queued removal of BlackBerry services"
At that point I could force the user to be deleted. After that I could remove the old server from the admin console.
