I've gone over the permissions again just to check. I can't see what the difference is between sending test emails from the bas which works with that account but not being able to send pin messages. Doe's sending pin messages require some other permissions?
I've logged a call with basc, will let you know the outcome but assume they won't allow assist as I'm led to believe they don't support bes on windows2008r2.
