Hi All,

I have BES server 5.03

I Would to install BES 10 ( normally we can install on the same server) so I download the trial version. But when I launched the installer, at the begging I have the error message:

"The Installation path is too long. You must specify an installation path that is less than 67 characters".

And of course I can't change the path.

Someone get the same issue than me? any Help or idea?

Same Message was already seen in the forum. But first of all BES is not supported on BES 5!
What OS are you planing to use?

I am having the same issue.

The installation path is too long. You must specify an installation path that is less than 67 characters.

Server: 2008 SP2 64-bit

Current install: BES 5.0.4

Same issue here:

Server: 2008 R2 SP1 64-bit

Current install: BES 5.0.4 (Bundle 38)

There is definetly a bug/glitch. I cannot change the installation path as it is greyed out. Please see screenshot:

DId you find a fix for this. Im getting the same error msg. Also, I moved to another server and having permission issues. (Elevation Error) but if I remember correctly you cant give the bes login admin rights. CEB
