Hi, please let me know what should be the minimum version of a blackberry device to work with Blackberry Enterprise Server 5.0.3.

All devices with are compatible except PlayBook OS and BB 10 Smartphones (which are not available yet).
To use all feature of the BES: the newer the device the better

Any device that supports the encryption method of your BES will work with exception of QNX PlayBook devices which require Mobie Fusion.

BB10 will require a new BES version

Recommendation on the use of Triple DES or AES for BlackBerry transport layer encryption
