Policy not been applied/enforced

Device: iPad 4.3.5

The policy is sent and received by the iPad, as per the IT Policy tab within the Mobile Fusion app, but none of it is applied.  I've sent down a test policy with password restrictions and browser restrictions, but those have no been applied to the device, yet the device is aware of the policy.

No errors were found in the log files.  It's poking the device successfully.

Any ideas?

Re: Policy not been applied/enforced

Sounds like the issues I have with the android devices... well specifically with encryption and the password expiration policy..  Have had a case open with BB for a week and a half and I was just told the ticket was getting forwarded to development... yay..

Re: Policy not been applied/enforced

Yes there are issues with IT Policies, not deploying correctly or not adhering to what was defined in the IT Policy.

Example: Alphabetic Password Policy only, requires a numeric when prompted on the device.

or,

Creating a policy, in my case disable Stores, the policy took affect and dropped the store icons from the homscreen but the actual policy listed was still Default.

This is still flaky, just work around it when possible.

This does not only affect android, IOS as well.

We can only wait for the next SP to hopefully most of this fixed.

Any idea on when that will be?  I think I'm on 6.0 build 42...

Re: Policy not been applied/enforced

Service Pack is talked about around Sept. I stand corrected. As they have just updated Fusion to 6.0.1, I dont think this will be any sooner than that.

Re: Policy not been applied/enforced

The file says 6.0.1, but when you extract it it's 6.0.0 build 56.
