We have two clients that have requested to be able to see the Public Folder Contacts on their blackberry.
For both clients:
- the besadmin user has owner permissions on the folder
- via servers and components -> component view -> email the correct Public folder has been added
- via manage user, for each user that needs the folder, I selected the public folder in the messaging configuration
Both clients are using blackberrys with OS 6.
Client 1:
For one user this has worked and was able to select the View Folder option in her contacts, but the other users are not seeing the View Folder option.

Yes and yes.
As stated in the original post it actually works just fine for 1 user, but the other users in the same company do not have the option on the blackberry.
All users are able to access the contacts within outlook.

Did you ever solve this problem? I have a very similar sounding issue myself...

I believe this was solved in the end by wiping the blackberry and re-activating it to BES.
