S/MIME signed Mails can not be opened

[ Edited ]

We have the following situation:

a) BES 10.1.3 Exchange 2007 + BB10.1.X Devices (Q10 / Z10)

b) BES 10.1.3 Exchange 2010 + BB10.1.X Devices (Q10 / Z10)

c) BES 10.1.3 Traveler 9.0.0.1IF1 + BB10.1.x Devices (Q10 / Z10)

d) BES 10.1.3 Traveler 9.0.0.1IF1 + BB10.2.x Devices (Z30)

When a user recieves an S/MIME SIGNED (not encrypted) Mail it cannot be opend on the Blackberry devices in situation a,b,d. The circle is going around and around and after a couple of minutes the device runs into timeout

displaying "message cound not be retrieved from server".

In situation c) the message can be opend, and the devices displays the signature-file as an attachment but it does not recognises this as a signature.

The content type of the mail is:

Content-Type: multipart/signed;

boundary="XXX";

protocol="application/x-pkcs7-signature";

micalg="sha1"

What have gone wrong?

Thank you for your reply.

As far as I know, we do not have to configure S/MIME Support for just RECIEVING a signed mail, do we?

This costomer does not use S/MIME for signing mail or encryption. The only thing he - of course - want's is

to read a Mail on a BB10 Devices that was signed by someone else outside the own enterprise...

BUT - to answer your question - yes we have configured S/MIME support correcty for an other customer and this customer as the same problems....

The incoming message looks like this:

X-PGP-Encoding-Version: 2.0.2
Content-Type: multipart/signed;
	boundary="PGP_Universal_359BCF4F_9E5D62EF_25C43BEE_78E08B65";
	protocol="application/x-pkcs7-signature";
	micalg="sha1"

--PGP_Universal_359BCF4F_9E5D62EF_25C43BEE_78E08B65
Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="=_alternative 002D6FB9C1257C07_="

This is a multipart message in MIME format.
--=_alternative 002D6FB9C1257C07_=
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-1"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

or:

X-Mailer: IBM Notes Traveler 9.0.0.1 Build 201308261107
X-Disclaimed: 22095
X-PGP-Encoding-Version: 2.0.2
Content-Type: multipart/signed;
	boundary="PGP_Universal_0B426411_47A2E788_8803CDC1_172AE5D4";

	micalg="sha1"

When running the device on german language, the error message is: Mail could not be retrieved from server.

When switching to english, the error message is: The message can't be decoded because of an unkowndecoding error OR The message can't be downloaded in the allotted time
