Secure Workspace - Work Connect and Browser get redirect to BES10 client

Hallo,

 

my secure work space dont work. PIN etc is set up. iPhone was factory reseted.

When i open the secure work space apps, i type the PIN and then i get redirected into the BES10 client. Sometime i see a very short time the browser or the mail configuration of the Work Connect.

 

Dont have any idea. The Core Logs show no errors.

I've noticed that from time to time, under Work Space, I get messages saying that "Secure work space is disabled".  I also see "There are no connection settings for Work Space server. Please make sure that Work Space tenant is provisioned" sometimes under the Connection Status: failed.

So I got past the redirecting error.  I did two things:

 

1. Wiped the device

2. Created a new Work Space IT policy. Previously I was using the default policy.

 

I am no longer getting re-directed.  The work space is still not working right (ie: I cannot get the work browser to connect), but at least I'm not having this error any longer.

 

For what its worth :smileyhappy:

 

I thought I had it fixed, but it is still there when I connect to an external network.  When I am on our corporate WiFi is when I do not get the redirect to the BES 10 Client.  Work Space still won't connect.

FYI: This is fixed for me. I opened a ticket and worked with Adrian from BlackBerry (Thanks again Adrian!!)

 

Everything was pointing to a certificate error, but it was the last one we expected: the APN cert from Apple.  We renewed the certificate and voila, SWS works like a champ! :smileyhappy:

 

Hope this helps anyone having this issue.

Sorry , would provide more details.

I don't know exactly what error Adrian found in the logs, but I believe the errors were found in the device log.

 

Did you try renewing your APN cert? You can renew your certificate without any impact to your environment, just make sure you check that "Everyone" still has read rights to the key.

So , the certificate you mentioned above is the APNs cert only ? but do you remember anything he check with you ? or any actions performed ?
