Secure workspace does not work with android BES 10.1.1

Hello,

 

We just installed BES 10.1.1 to test the secure workspace on ios and android. I've setup activesync configuration in UDS and created a profile with my email exchange activesync. I created a user and I added the activesync Profile and default workspace with default workspace it policy. I activated my device and installed the request applications, but when I want to open secure work space, the application never opens on my device. What am I doing wrong?

Does it ask you for a Workspace password? At first start, it should ask you to set one and from then on you have to enter it, when you start the app.

work space is setup'ed correctly (i think). Also the work space pin.
at the actual try, i get error like "cannot established Work space"

I have new BES10 server, new client cals and an iphone 5s.

Phone activates

Cert Ok

Can manage phone, send profiles, apply groups and send apps

When I try to open Work Connect it says I need a work space for this app (work connect is a work space app)

it says setting up work space (which I have configured and applied to the Iphone group in UDS

Then is craps out and says you need a work space see administrator.

 

I can't get the default work space to apply/complete installing.  Any ideas or thoughts on what I can check.  Out of ideas here.  THANKS...frusterated.

Hi

on the UDS go to library, activation profile , under MDM you need to choose which activation type, "Work and personal-user privacy" or "Work and personnal-full control". this should solve the issue.
