Hello everyone!
Long time mac and bb user here...
My job just switched to enterprise server and i happen to the only MAC guy. Needless to say it (my BB) works great except with syncing my contacts and ical.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi mpb307
If your BlackBerry smartphone's address book and calendar are configured for wireless synchronization, the wired synchronization will be disabled. By default, after activating on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, this is feature is enabled. Have you tried checking these settings on the BlackBerry smartphone?

They are set for wireless....which works fine with enterprise but doesn't work with my MACBOOK Pro. I wanted to see if there is coding for the mac on enterprise.
what do you think?

Hi Mark,
You will have to turn off the wireless synchronization feature on the BlackBerry smartphone in order to synchronize with your Macbook Pro. The synchronization with your Macbook Pro would have to be done using the cable and the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac. Keep in mind that when you synchronize your BlackBerry smartphone with your Macbook Pro, it will merge your address books and calendars.

The BlackBerry Enterprise Server is made to connect with Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino or Novell Groupwise mail servers. The BlackBerry Enterprise Server doesn't connect directly with any PC or Mac. You could possibly have your Mac configured to connect with your company's mail server, which connects to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. I would recommend contacting your IT Department in regards to doing this however.

Already did that! The mail section works well mac. I also know that we have a guy with an iphone that says his iphone works really well with address book and ical. I am trying to see if i can configure Enterprise to work with my mac applications

The BlackBerry Enterprise Server only connects and interacts with the mail server. So you're Mac would have to interact with the mail server to reflect the BlackBerry smartphone.
