The enablement process has not completed

We are in the process of migrating users from a BES 4.1.8 to BES 5.0 server on an exchange 2003 (in transitionj to exchange 2007) environment.

 There is one user (Myself!) that has a problem.

 When using the webdesktop, if I go to redirection folders under the email settings tab, it says

"The enablement process has not completed. Once complete, the redirection folders will be available."

 This never changes.  I have deleted my Blackberry properties from exchange and done a new activation, yet this problem remains.

 Other users do not have this issue so I suspect that this must be something to do with my AD account properties.

 

  I use a different account for tasks that require elivated permissions. My email account is just a domain user.

That's a strange one. Have you moved any other users yet? Are they having the same issue?

 

Off the top of my head, I would say that it sounds like WebDTM might think you are logged in as your elevated-rights account which isn't BlackBerry enabled...hence the error.

 

Make sure you're trying to login to WebDTM as your domain user account and not your admin account. Let's start there.

yes other users have been moved and things work normally for them.

 Yes I am logging on with the normal user account (the one the blackberry is setup on) not my administrator account.

Did your user account ever have elevated rights?

yes, probebly at one time.

 I know this was an issue when Exchange 2003 SP2 came out and at that time I made the changes to the account to resolve the problem that BES had after that.

Sounds like maybe a elevation was not removed.

 

ADSIedit could let you look at it all properties and then compare to another user.

not really, just compare your self to a normal user and see what is different.

Hi,

 

Have the same problem, but not for all users, 2 users function ok.

When I check after 1 week, these 2 users not function again and another 2 users now function ok.

 

Any idea?

Same problem,

in the email tab, says:

'the enablement process has not completed. Once complete the redirection folder will be available'

This is preventing all my contacts from syncing.
