Upgrade questions

Currently running 4.1 and wanting to update to latest version.  Also the current server is about 5 years old so getting a new one.  Should I update before or after migration?  What is the best way to complete this?

Please use plain text.

Re: Upgrade questions

are you on T support?

IF yes then get a migration kit and install BES 5 SP3  fresh on new hardware and move users over with transporter.

Re: Upgrade questions

What exactly is T support and how much does it cost?  Without T support I suppose my best route is do to the Phased approach.

Re: Upgrade questions

T support can be pricey, You can always move to BES 5 express ( free) and then move to your Full BES After.

or do a bulk mode transfer, which works but there is some down time.
