I am a BES admin for a company. I have a lot of experience with the old BES servers. This is the first time I am trying to setup the new BES 10 server. I got everything to the point the I can activate a work account on the z10 in the advance setup, but it doesn't sync anything. I built the email profile and have it pointed to our exchange server, but I still get nothing. I have looked through the logs, but have come up empty. Can someone point me in right direction? Does activesync have to be open to the outside of the company in order for this to work? I was under the impression that I wouldn't need that to activate a work account on the Z10. Any help is appreciated.

you dont need EAS open to outside world
you do need to make an email profile in BAS and assign it to a user
BESAdmin's, please make a signature with your BES environment info.
BES 5.0.4 and BES 10.2.2 with Exchange 2010 and SQL 2008
