Work Space Application Permissions

Love the z10 for starters.

I am testing some RDP applications for mobile administraion. I can get them installed on the device just fine however it does not seem to connect to my RDP servers that i test. After talking to one of the developers he intructed me that BDS could disable this type of communication. I have been unable to locate anything inside the admin guide or BDS that would suggest this is blocked.

I have a BDS 6.2 vannilla install. Is there something i need to do to get this working? The server i am testing with has no firewall in case someone thinks of that.

Re: Work Space Application Permissions

you have to get it installed on work side to access via BES VPN like connection

If installed on persoanl side it will not work unless you config VPN connection first.

Re: Work Space Application Permissions

try by IP or FQDN?

usually IP works better unless you made exclusion for your domain

Re: Work Space Application Permissions

would it be correct in assuming that BDS is not blocking the application from accessing my internal network? I can access my intranet just fine on the browser so i know my connection is working.
