Wrong images displayed in emails (cache?) BEs 5.0.2 MR1

Hi

We are running BES 5.0.2 MR1 Domino 7.0.3 Torch 9800

We have the problem that images in emails are replaced by other images (wrong images) that are not in the email opened.

As if the BB would not load them from server but from some cache!!??

Anybody has the same problem.....?

Thanx a lot.

Please use plain text.

Re: Wrong images displayed in emails (cache?) BEs 5.0.2 MR1

Try a Battery pull please, with the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot device. This will clear all cache liek rebooting a PC. Then try again and see if your problem persists.

Re: Wrong images displayed in emails (cache?) BEs 5.0.2 MR1

Some more details to our problem

Problem only occurs with internal emails with devices os 6 External emails are working fine Devices with os 5 are not affected Only HTML (MIME) emails are concerned An incorrect image in an email: when switching to get plain text in this email and downloading the image then the correct image is shown, switching back to html, the wrong image is shown again

We now have BES 5.0.2 MR3 with Domino 8.5.3

Thanx for your help!!

Have you looked in the NSD log to see if anything sticks out?

open the affected file/email on a OS6 device (hopefully the one your having an issue with) and then look at the log to see if anyting stands out
