I am having difficulty activating one of my Blackberry user.
The activation goes through properly but when I enter the user's password, it get an error message:
Your login information for account (firstname.lastname@example.org) has changed or is incorrect. Update your login information and try again.
Phone: BB Z10
Environment: Exchange 2010 SP2 RU2 with Blackberry Enterprise Service 10
I am able to activate my account with the same phone without any issues.
My question is: what AD object is BES looking for when authenticating the user?
I believe that is something in this user account that is not coinciding with how BES authenticate.

password have any special characters in it?
does the password work with OWA?

is user inheriting permissions in AD?

I checked the inherent permissions and it's setup properly.
I also verified with the CAS servers application logs and didn't find any Event ID: 1053 for this user.
I am able to sync emails with a Samsung S3 using the native email client via activesync.

Email address and username are case sensitive.
Email address should be the same like in AD,
User name should be the same like exchange Alias.
