blackberry enterprise IM

Hi All,

 

I have successfully upgraded my BES servers from 5.0.1 MR2 to 5.0.4 MR4 just so that we can have enterprise IM. 

Upgrade was a success but now I am unable to connect to lync server.

Error on Blackberry -


1) Failed to excute your last actions (-9)
2) Cannot conenct to server

 

As per the logs on the BES (C:\Program Files (x86)\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\BBIM\Servers\instance)

Hello alexheng81,

Thank you for your question regarding BlackBerry Enterprise Instant Messaging.

 

We generally see these errors when the Lync Pool is not in the same forest as the BlackBerry Collaboration Service as that is not supported. If they are in the same forest the best way to resolve this would be to disable the automatic provisioning the BlackBerry Collaboration Service and do it manually.
