4.1.6.x versioning discrepancy

What is the difference between server 4.1.6.22 and 4.1.6 mr5?   Which is newer?   Why doesn't Rim stick to a single method of versioning?

Hi and welcome to the forums.

 

To find the real version: 


1) Go to the Add or Remove Programs Control Panel applet (Start > Run > appwiz.cpl <enter>)

2) Locate the reference to "BlackBerry Enterprise Server", select it and then click "Click here for support information.".

3) The publisher listed should be "Research In Motion" and the Version will be the exact version of BES currently installed.

 

What mail server are you using so we can determine the latest MR for it?

Thanks for the tip to find the "real" version.   It says it's running at 4.1.6 mr5 there.   This is for Groupwise and mr5 appears to be the latest I can find.

Check back once in a while as BES 4.1.6 MR7 was released for Exchange and Domino
