I have a couple of users that are having trouble with appointments on their calendars. Instead of showing as an appointment that can be accepted or declined, they are coming through as a new email and are missing the actions.
We are running BES 5.0 SP4 RM4.
The users have Blackberry 9780 software version 184.108.40.2064 (Platform 220.127.116.11) and another, same device software version 18.104.22.1686 (Platform 22.214.171.124).
I have tested this on my blackberry and it is fine. (9700 s/w ver 126.96.36.1991 (Platform 188.8.131.52).
Any ideas will be gratefully received

What mail server version?

do you allow outside invitations on Exchange?
if no then change it with this

Is this on a per user basis? It seems it is only happening for a handful of users. My test blackberry connected to that BES opens appointments fine.

Thank you for the knowledgebase article.
I have looked through it an everything appears to be set correctly.
At present I have only found two users that are affected by this.
I found another knowledgebase article that states that appointments may not work and to make sure that a meeting request is sent instead. This does not work either.

is BES set to use CDO or EWS? EWS is much bettr to use
