BES for Exchange 2007

Hi

We have recently install a BES for Exchange 2007.

Problem: The users get an 'X' (unlisted message error) when forwarding emails with attachment on their bb devices.

Any idea what happen and how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards

Jade

Re: BES for Exchange 2007

Yes, composing new email no problem and reply/forward email without attachment is also working.

We are using BES version 4.1.6.9 and Exchange 2007 ver 8.1.

Re: BES for Exchange 2007

have you tried wiping and re-activating the device?

are there any warnings/erros in windows event logs (related to user/message) rite after you get red x ? (please post if there is one)

Re: BES for Exchange 2007

whats the MAPI installed on BES? search for 'mapi32.dll' and report back versions of all files found and make sure Outlook is not installed on BES

Re: BES for Exchange 2007

-Please rename all mapi32.dll and cdo.dll files to mapi.old and cdo.old

-If Installed, uninstall Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 (add remove programs)

-Download Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 from :

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=E17E7F31-079A-43A9-BFF2-0A110307611E&displa...

install MAPI/CDO and reboot BES and test
