Dear all,
Currently our BES server has this setting enabled. "External File System Encryption Level"
We set to "Encrypt to User Password and Device Key (including multi-media directories)"
Does this means all our BlackBerry devices' internal and external memory have been encrypted including the media files?
Do we still require to turn on this setting ? "Encryption On On-Board Device Memory Media Files"
I find it confusing for this two options. hope someone can help to clarify. Thank you!

on os 4.5 and higher devices all have
device memory - OS, Apps and storage
SD card storage - external removable storage.
Some devices like Bold, Storm and Torch have a special internal memory for storage that does not affect OS storage
internal memory for storage - usually 1 gig or more depending on device
So you would need to apply both settings if you need to encrypt all data
Expectations when encryption is enabled for a media card in a BlackBerry smartphone
