Looking for any advice or suggestions for a best practice here:
So my company has been doing company wide Migration from Groupwise to Exchange. I am responsible for migration of the Blackberry's. Currently my process is to add the user to the BES Exchange server, apply our IT Policy and set the activation password then go to the user. Turn off all Wireles Sync Options (Contacts, Addressbook) Perform a back-up using the Desktop Software on my laptop. The I wipe the device, retore the back-up and complete Enterprise Activation.
This process, although sometimes very time consuming, has had the best results. The only hic-up that I really see is sometimes the contact list I restored and the one being puched from the users outlook are the same and it doubles up. Any suggestions or comments are greatly appriciated. Oh and we're running BES 4.1.7

I would create a backup folder in Outlook before doing the restore and move the contacts there. Then when done you can merge them back to the contacts folder which will update them or you can compare first before moving back.
