We are using a domino environment running on windows server 2003 SP2 with domino 8.02

We are using Blackberry Manager 4.1.6.13 and we are testing with the following blackberry:

blackberry 8320

blackberry version: 4.5.0.52

platform: 2.7.0.66

But the problem occurs on all Blackberry's connected to this configuration.

This is the problem description:

Remote search for email messages on the lotus notes mail file does not work, although the text indexing is activated (referring to KB15161) on the mailfile. We also tried removing the index and recreating it but without any result.

All other functions (receiving, sending, local search, ... work without any problem)

The remote folder structure can be seen as well. It is possible to browse in the folders, but then it shows 'no messages'.

This configuration used to work, before we migrated the domino from 8.01 to 8.02 en we moved the domino from a linux environment to a windows 2003 environment.

Just to confirm, you enabled full text indexing on the mail file that is on the Domino server that the BES is polling right? Not just a local copy of the user's mail file?

Hello,

No I enabled full text indexing on the mailfile on the server.

The proof that the full text indexing works is that when you remove it, the blackberry gives you an error message that the mailfile is not indexed yet.

I have the same behaviour on different blackberrys connected to the same server.
