Bold on BES pops up Enterprise Activation Screen

I am hoping someone can help me.

I have a BOLD, and what was a intermittent issue is now a daily one.

Mostly during the night, when my phone is in its charging cradle, and the display shows the "bedside mode" (but also, when its just in its holster), the screen will flip to the Enterprise Activation display screen.

The system is working properly, and the BES does not report any issues.  Rogers tech support told me to wipe it and start over... Did not help. Any ideas?

Ps Bold has V4.6.0.162 (Patform 4.0.0.155)

Re: Bold on BES pops up Enterprise Activation Screen

We are having the same issue here.  Several users getting prompted for Activation...yet the BB is sending and receiving just fine.

Anyone have any ideas besides reactivation?

Re: Bold on BES pops up Enterprise Activation Screen

Anybody have an answer to this?

Happens every night for several users on BES 5.0. Wouldnt be surprised if it were a lot, but only a few users reporting it.

Handhelds are Curve 8900, 8300 and Bold.

*Same time every night, just says enterprise activation, email, pin, etc.

Thanks,

Re: Bold on BES pops up Enterprise Activation Screen

activate the affected users again and see if it goes away.

Make sure you send the activation from BES.

Re: Bold on BES pops up Enterprise Activation Screen

Is this a new install or an upgrade?

If from an upgrade then you must reactivate users. Mos likely the encryption on old BES did not match new BES.

Reactive will stop it.

Re: Bold on BES pops up Enterprise Activation Screen

It sounds like your desktop sync service book is being corrupted for some reason. Your devices aren't actually reactivating, they are just repushing that service book to the handhelds. Have you tried rebooting the BES server or restarting the services?
