I am having an issue with Calendar synchronization. New appointments created on the Blackberry are not synching over to the users mailbox. However, appointments created in Outlook or OWA sync over to the Blackberry just fine. This is happening for all users. We have tried completely wiping a test handheld, updating to newest release, removing from BES, re-adding to BES, and setting up handheld back up.
All synchronization seems to work fine except for the calendar appointments created on the handheld do not get synched to the users mailbox.
Versions:
Blackberry Enterprise Server Version 4.1.6.10
Blackberry Manager version 4.1.6.9
Blackberry 8830 version 4.2.2.176
Please assist.

I have verified the CDO.dll is registered on the Blackberry server by following this step:
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displ
Location is $:\program files\exchsrvr\bin\cdo.dll

What version CDO.DLL are on BES and Exchange?
What version Exchange?

Exchange 2007
CDO.dll on BES server: 6.5.7651.61
Where do I find the version on the exchange server? That same registry entry is not on the Exchange server to show me the path to cdo.dll.

Running ESM 2003 on the BES?
Might be time to uninstall it and get the CDO 1.2.1 on the BES instead. The compatability cahrt does not list it for 2007.

You should be able do a search on the exchange server to find the CDO.DLL
Best to match what is on exchange.

I had this issue a couple of months ago, and all I could find was posts telling me to check the cdo.dll file, which was correct. I finally figured it out that the besadmin account couldn't see any of the users in the GAL, so I created a new GAL to include everyone in the organization as well as the besadmin account. As soon as this happened, calendar syncing resumed in both directions. I work for a hosting company, and while all of our internal blackberries were working fine, none of our hosted customers could do 2-way syncing. Now that we're all in the new GAL, nobody has any issues.
I found a link to better word what I'm saying.
