Emails marked as Read on the Blackberry but still Unread on Notes.

Which setting do I need to change so that when I read an email on my Blackberry it shows as read BUT it still shows as unread in my Lotus Notes. One of my users had to replace his phone and wants this option again and I can't figure out what to change. Is it on the phone or on the BES server? Any help would be appreciated.

Give these two a read:

KB05253 - Unread marks synchronization is inconsistent between BlackBerry and Domino

and

KB11557 - Synchronize Read/Unread marks to a clustered IBM Lotus Domino mail server
