We are planning a transition from Exchange 2003 to 2007 -- I found the article KB14502 that describes how to update the BES.
Here's my question:
Do I update the BES after all of the mailboxes of users who use a blackberry are moved to the new Exchange server?
Thanks,
~Tracie

Maybe I should re-phrase the question. If I follow the instructions from KB14502 - Migrating the BES from Exchg 2000/3 to 2007 ...
After I move the BESAdmin account mailbox to 2007 Exchg, will the accounts that are still on 2K3 work with BES, or do I need to migrate them all over at that time?
Thanks,
~Tracie

I'd move them all to 2007 but don't have to.

During our migration, we had no issues accessing Exchange 2003 mailboxes with the Blackberry service account after it was moved to Exchange 2007. Just make sure the account has the permissions it needs on the 2007 mailboxes and you should be good to go.

Greetings.
Are you all inferring if I follow the KB Article KB14502 that the E2K3 and E2K7 BES users will all co-exist during the E2K3 to E2K7 transition ?
Any tips for a noob here appreciated.
Cheers

Follow the KB that BBinmyheart posted.
And yes they can both coexist if you can knot move it all in one shot.
