ForceMsgPrepopOnActivation

I have added this key, restarted my BES and every test I do with a reactivation testing message prepop on activation doesn't work. Could an IT policy affect this as well?

How old are the mesages?

Did you enter in the activation info on teh device and click on activate?

If using the same PIN upon activation look at this KB

KB04713 - Enable message prepopulation for all users on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server



For subfolders you have to enable them first.

KB11434 - No messages are displayed in subfolders following enterprise activation

We have the prepop thresholds at 14 days and 750 messages. I have applied the registry key and these are messages in the Inbox.

 

I have a ticket in at RIM too, but as usual there tech support seems clueless. If it wasn't for my ability to upgrade my BES servers without additional fees, I don't think I would keep it going forward.
